How does the speech analysis work?

SpeechCoach records your speech, transcribes it using AI, then analyzes your transcript across 6 metrics: filler words, pace, clarity, structure, confidence, and an overall score. Each mode weights metrics differently. For example, Interview Prep weights confidence and structure higher, while Presentation mode focuses on pace and structure.

Is my data private?

Yes. SpeechCoach uses an anonymous device ID. No account, login, or personal information is required. Audio recordings are processed for transcription and then stored securely. Your data is not shared with third parties. You can request deletion by contacting support.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find SpeechCoach AI, and tap Cancel. You will keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How many free analyses do I get?

You get 3 free speech analyses. Each analysis includes all 6 metrics, a full transcript, highlighted filler words, and personalized coaching notes. Subscribe to unlock unlimited analyses.

What speaking modes are available?

SpeechCoach offers 5 modes: Interview Prep (STAR method coaching, confidence focus), Presentation (structure and pace focus), Sales Pitch (confidence and urgency), Wedding Toast (timing and storytelling), and Free Practice (equal weight on all metrics).
